Bio: Doo is a pioneer of the Indian club and private event deejay scene. He is the most recognized deejay in Sydney and classified as an all-rounder, talent in music has taken his name to an extreme level. His ability to understand tracks, remix, sample or mix at any level, whether its rhythm or lyrical simply beats quality. His knowledge and understanding towards music from old school to latest is probably another reason why he’s on top. Although he lives in Sydney, Doo used to be the resident DJ for Melbourne’s number one Indian club “Fire”, he has also performed in Brisbane, New Zealand during the “Bombay Vikings” tour and currently has his eyes on Fiji to promote Karaoke and dance events.
He has been jamming for over a decade now from weddings to clubs and has individually worked his way right on top and is there to stay. Highly respected in the community who has also helped and supported many other Dj’s, musicians, singers, charity organisation and event promoter’s locally and overseas. He has worked with well known industry figures such as: Bombay Vikings, Punjabi MC, DJ Harry (India’s number 1 DJ/Producer), B21 (UK), Sonu Nigam, DJ Aqeel (India’s Finest), Sanjay Rayna (Singer) and DJ Sanj.
Doo has also been involved in promotion for Artists such as: Dr Zeus, RDB, Tiger Style and Bally Sagoo (Hungama). He has also appeared next along side “Sonu Nigam” Bollywood’s number one playback singer, successful sold out concert that was held back in March at State Sports Centre where he was also involved with the promotions.
Doo is originally from the beautiful Islands of Fiji and has performed almost all over Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and many more to come. He is probably the only Indian Dj in Australia who is also a Professional Singer. He keeps a very low profile and known to the other side of the community by using his real name [Jarvis]. He has the voice of great “Kishore Kumar” and has the ability to give “Kumar Sanu” a hard time if they ever performed together. Doo or Jarvis has performed at number of concerts, cultural events, and festivals and promotes his dance parties. He is currently working on his latest album, which could be either a remix or his debut-singing album and is planning a national tour and overseas. A sample CD is always available on request.
